Daily Maintenance
· For best results, remove your wig before sleeping and store it properly. If you choose to sleep in your wig, gently detangle it, secure the hair in a loose braid or low ponytail and wear a satin bonnet to reduce friction
· Avoid using styling products containing sulfates and harsh chemicals
· Keep styling products minimal to prevent buildup and maintain softness
· When needed, apply a few drops of wig oil to lock in softness and shine
Styling
· Human hair can be styled with heat tools, but always use a heat protectant
· Avoid excessive heat to prevent damage
· For curly hair, maintain the natural curl pattern with finger styling and low-heat tools
Burmese Curly:
· This hair can be styled wet or dry. For a more defined curl pattern lightly wet the hair using a spray bottle and gently scrunch.
Dertangling
· When detangling, use a wide-tooth comb or loop bristle brush. Start and at the ends and gently work upwards towards the roots, holding the near the roots to minimize tension and shedding
· For curly or textured hair, use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to gently separate knots. Avoid brushing curly hair when dry if you want to maintain curl pattern.
Washing
· Always detangle the hair before washing
· Use lukewarm water and a moisturizing sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to wash and condition the hair
· Submerge the hair gently and swirl it lightly. Avoid rubbing twisting or rough handling
· For wigs, apply conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the wig cap to protect the knots
Drying
· After washing, gently squeeze out excess water – no wringing. Pat the hair with a microfibre towel and place in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat to air dry
· Avoid blow-drying until the hair is completely dry; if necessary, use a low or cool setting
· Make sure the hair is completely dry before storing
Storing
· Hair must be completely dry before storing
· Store hair in your SMurban Hair satin bag when not in use
· To preserve a styled look, use a wig stand or mannequin head and cover with a silk or satin bonnet or scarf when storing for long periods
· Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and humidity
Curly & Wavy Hair
· Finger de-tangle or use a wide-tooth comb to detangle
· Avoid brushing curly hair when dry if you want to maintain the curl pattern
· Refresh curls with a light mist of water and gently scrunch
· Allow to air-dry
Lace Care
· Handle the lace gently and avoid excessive pulling or brushing around the hairline.
· Avoid scratching, picking or rubbing the lace when removing product buildup.
· When washing, gently cleanse the lace and avoid rough handling to help prevent tearing or damage.
· If using adhesive or lace glue, follow the adhesive manufacturer's removal instructions. Never pull or peel the wig off forcefully, as this can stretch or tear the lace.
